CONDEMNED

condemned by God to prove myself yet again,
to try harder and harder just to know i fail;
condemned by God to feel a hollow pain,
to try and find solace where theres none for sale.

condemned by God to fly one moment and fall the next,
to drown, to die, to cry in sorrow;
condemned by God to belong to the lonely sect,
to dream of finding happiness i didn't have to borrow.

condemned by God to keep the company i hate,
to feel alone, listening to the clock chime;
condemned by God to have a meaningless fate,
to be reduced to writing juvenile rhymes.
