HUMAN NATURE

Human nature? it’s weird at best,
We want most what we can’t have,
And we often become what we most detest.

Human nature? imperfect we are,and strangely so,
Yet we search for perfection in each and every way,
Even though we'll find none, even though we know.

Human nature? we often forget our worth,
And while kings and clowns rule the roost,
Beggars roam this parched and starving earth.

Human nature? we love to hate,
Sometimes we hate what we love the most,
And sometimes we just hate to love, end of debate.
